Khajjiar a small saucer shaped plateau is the hill station in Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. The plateau is located at a distance of 15 kms from the Dalhousie.

This temple is one of the oldest temples in the Himachal Pradesh and is dedicated to the lord of serpents. This was built in the 12th century. The wood carving in the temple reflect the hindu-mughal pattern of architecture and the style. This temple also boasts about the idols of Shiva, and images of panama and koura.
