The travel destination can be reached by three ways that is by air, road and train. The nearest airport is at Shimla and it is at a distance of 224 km from Kalpa. The airport is connected to the major cities like Delhi and Mumbai. People can easily hire taxis and cabs outside the airport for Sangla Valley.

Railways is also an option to reach the destination and the nearest railway station is Shimla and it also connects with the major cities.

The most picked option and the best one is the road and if you want to reach Sangla the best pick is to reach Kalpa from any of the major cities. The roads are convenient and the scenic landscape in the journey is the one you would not want to miss.

Best places to Visit In Sangla Valley:

Kamru fort:

This fort is located in the Solang valley and is the top pick in our list. The fort is a three story wooden building and is architecture of the 15th century. This fort is now dedicated to the goddess Kamakhaya and has a huge religious importance.

Chitkul village:

This is the small hamlet in the valley and the Himachal Pradesh.  The beauty of this village is like no other and is just like a fairyland. This is situated at a distance of 20Kms from the Sangla valley. A temple dedicated to the Local goddess Chitkul Maathi is also located in the village and it is seen to be of huge importance to the people of Kinnaur. Also, the village experiences snowfall in the winters which is a view worth watching.

Baspa river:

Since the Sangla valley is located on the banks of the baspa river, therefore this river has also become an important travel destination. The river is surrounded with beautiful Himalayan Ranges and the views here are something that you might be longing for and an escape from the crowded world.

There are variety of fishes seen and this makes it a god fishing spot. You can sit by the river and enjoy the beauty and serenity.

Brelengi Gompa

If you are in Himachal then monasteries should be of the must visit travel destinations in your list. This is a beautiful monastery and is established in 1922. People can experience peace and solace in the monastery.

Best time to visit

The climate and the weather of the place is pleasant throughout the year but you might find the winters to be a bit extreme. Summers are hot too but enjoyable. The temperature in the summer can range from 8 to 30 degrees Celsius. Monsoons are the best time to visit this place as the valley experiences little rainfall. winters are no recommended but summers and monsoons are the best time to visit the place you can even carry woollens along to be prepared for the weather.
